If you are in the market for a new Kia, you are probably researching many factors such as performance, safety, tech features, and the Kia Warranty. Warranties help save you money on necessary maintenance and repairs for a given amount of time, so it is important to take this into consideration when budgeting for a new vehicle. Kia offers an excellent warranty program, known as the Kia 10-year/100,000-mile warranty program. It provides Jackson drivers with added peace of mind every time they get behind the wheel.
The Kia warranty program is available for vehicles produced from 2008 to the present. Here is how you are covered:
If you get stranded near Brandon or hours away from home, you can rest assured knowing that there are more than 17,000 roadside assistance providers who are available 24/7. The 24-Hour Roadside Assistance service plan is here for you. If you run out of gas, your battery dies, your engine overheats, or you get a flat tire, this plan has you covered.
If you’re more than 150 miles from home and a covered component of your vehicle fails, needing more than 24 hours to complete the repair, Kia provides reasonable reimbursement for rental car expenses, lodging, and/or meals.
If you plan to sell or return your Kia while the warranty is still valid, the new vehicle warranty is transferable to the new owner. The coverage listed below is also transferable:
If you would like to know more about the Kia warranty, what components are covered and for how long, or about your vehicle of choice in general, do not hesitate to contact the team at Wilson KIA about Kia warranty information. We would be glad to answer any questions that you may have.
KIA 10-year/100,000-mile warranty program* consists of various limited warranties, including limited basic, limited powertrain, and limited anti-perforation warranties, plus a roadside assistance and trip interruption program. For vehicles in commercial use, the powertrain warranty is limited to five years or 60,000 miles, which ever comes first. For specific warranty coverages, exceptions, terms, conditions, limitations, and restrictions on transferability, please download complete details of The KIA 10-year/100,000 warranty program in PDF format.
Should you be left to wait on some remote roadway for lack of pocket change? Certainly not. Our toll-free hotline is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and is accessible from anywhere in the U.S. The number’s simple enough to remember, too: 1-800-333-4KIA.
A free phone call isn’t of much use if it doesn’t result in someone coming to your rescue, so we have set up a network of over 17,000 roadside assistance providers. They’ll help you out of the usual minor mishaps-dead batteries, flats (provided you have a spare that isn’t flat), running out of gas-and they’ll do it at no charge.
In the event of a warrantable concern that can’t be fixed on the spot, we’ll see to it you’re towed at no cost to the nearest KIA dealer or Alternate Service Location (ASL), whichever is closer. Needless to say, if you have an applicable warranty-related concern, your repairs may be covered under the KIA 10-year/100,000-mile warranty program.
If you have the misfortune to break down after-hours, on a weekend, on a weekend, or a holiday, your vehicle will be towed and stored by a KIA-approved vendor, and taken to the nearest dealer or ASL on the next business morning.
Trip Interruption expense benefits are provided in the event that a warranty-related disablement occurs more than 150 miles from the customer’s home, and the repairs require more than 24 hours to complete. Reasonable reimbursement can be provided for meals, lodging, or rental car expenses. Trip interruption coverage is limited to $100 per day subject to a three-day maximum limit per incident, and the customer is required to contact the KIA Consumer Assistance Center to explain the circumstances and request reimbursement. A representative at the KIA Consumer Assistance Center will determine whether the circumstances meet the criteria for trip interruption benefits and, if so, will advise the customer that they will be reimbursed for trip interruption expenses.
Insurance deductibles, expenses, and claims paid by the customer’s insurance company or other third party providers are not eligible for reimbursement.
