Visiting from out of town and not sure where to eat? Or are you local and looking for a new Jackson restaurant to try? Either way, the team at Wilson Kia has put together a list of some of our favorite places to eat around Jackson.

Rooster’s

This family-friendly Jackson restaurant opened in 1984 and has been serving the community delicious American fare for more than 30 years. Whether you’re looking for a juicy burger, country fried steak, or a panini, all food is homemade and made with fresh ingredients. You’re sure to enjoy the laid-back atmosphere and homey feel.

Lou’s Full-Serv

Lou’s Full-Serv is a neighborhood eatery located in historic Belhaven. The owner, Louis LaRose, is a Jackson native, and his Southern-inspired restaurant offers a casual/vintage industrial aesthetic. Here, you’ll find only quality ingredients used to prepare the dishes like crab cakes, crawfish fondue, steak-frites, French onion burgers, cast-iron chicken, and more. Lou’s also offers a full-service lounge and bar where you can relax and enjoy a drink with friends.

The Iron Horse Grill

The building that houses the Iron Horse Grill was originally used as an armour smokehouse in 1906, and today this Jackson restaurant serves up delicious meals. Sample the southwestern egg rolls, fried broccoli, fajitas, Iron Horse burger, bayou pasta, and more. You can also take a tour of the museum where you can learn more about the history of music in Mississippi.

The Pig & Pint

If you’re looking for a great barbecue joint, stop at the The Pig & Pint. As you can guess, this restaurant serves up delicious combos of meats and beers. Try the nachos, barbecue plates, tacos, or salads, and pair it with one of the state’s largest selections of craft beers. They offer both dine in and carry out services, so you can enjoy your barbecue on the spot or from the comfort of your own home.
